中村彩子作曲の新作曲 ”琵琶と十七絃箏のための「六花」” を無観客で初演、オンライン配信しています。
演奏は、筑前琵琶は伊藤純子さん、十七絃箏は吉澤延隆さん。大変素晴らしいアンサンブルです。
「六花」とは雪の異称。6つの北海道の雪の情景を表現すべく、6拍子の6つのパーツで構成されています。
薩摩琵琶で演奏する場合においては、腹板を打つ奏法なども含まれていて、この筑前琵琶の初演とは違った味わいになることでしょう。
新型コロナ終息後に広く演奏される新しい邦楽曲ということで、初演にあたり、文化庁より「文化芸術活動の継続支援事業」の助成をいただきました。

“Rokka” means snow. The composition describes 6 landscapes of snow from Hokkaido, Japan.
The sheet music is now on sale. We hope the composition will become a new masterpiece of modern music by Japanese traditional instruments after Covid.
